Aveda Network Salons:
A Network salon has chosen to carry a maximum of 3 other lines plus Aveda. This model is best represented when the salon owner wants to come closer to the Aveda brand, though wants to honor the relationships that they have had with other brands.

The benefit of this model is that it does not disrupt the principals and best practices that have already been established by the salon. It simply adds another client, product, and staff offering to the mix.

In order for this model to be successful Aveda has created a basic set of criteria for success.

  1. Square footage – Typically 1200 sq ft or greater
  2. Retail square footage – 300-850 sq ft
  3. Conducts Aveda signature services
  4. Sells Aveda products in a minimum of 16 linear feet of space and carries full domain representation
  5. Utilizes Aveda product in back bar, styling stations, spa rooms and hair color at a minimum of 50% of the offering
  6. Utilizes Aveda retailing systems, fixtures, merchandising tools, and furniture in the retail area
  7. Participates in Aveda’s technical education and retail education
  8. Participates in Aveda’s retailing calendar and animation
  9. Does not utilize the Aveda logo in the windows, in its collateral or in its menus
  10. Agrees to keep the minimum inventory designated by the domain as an average stock of retail product, on the shelf at all times
